Our programs involve complex production schedules, high-dollar purchase orders, and multi-site deployments. Execution precision and proactive communication are critical to maintaining customer confidence and long-term partnerships.
We are seeking a Project Manager who can operate confidently in high-pressure environments and drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will serve as the operational lead and primary coordination point for major enterprise programs involving busway and power distribution systems. This role oversees production coordination, order tracking, delivery management, submittals, RFQs, pricing support, and executive-level customer communication.
This position requires the ability to manage a large volume of active purchase orders, navigate production challenges, and lead recurring status calls where delivery performance and schedule recovery plans are actively discussed.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Manufacturer Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise customers regarding manufacturer-related questions and requests
Lead weekly and bi-weekly status calls with customers and manufacturer production teams
Provide clear, proactive communication on production schedules, ship dates, and delivery timelines
Own communication related to schedule changes, delivery risk, and recovery plans
Production Oversight & Escalation Management
Monitor production schedules across a large portfolio of open purchase orders
Identify schedule risks early and escalate internally and externally as needed
Drive accountability with manufacturer production teams when delays occur
Facilitate resolution discussions when production timelines slip
Develop and communicate recovery plans to customers when deliveries are at risk
Maintain professionalism and composure during high-visibility, high-pressure calls related to delayed orders
Ensure alignment between customer expectations and manufacturer capacity
Order & Program Management
Track and manage a high-volume portfolio of open purchase orders across multiple project sites
Maintain detailed order tracking logs and master delivery trackers
Provide site-level delivery updates, including tracking partial shipments across multiple POs
Track components and parts ordered under each PO
Coordinate RMA returns and repair processes
Schedule and coordinate on-site technical services as required
Communicate confirmed and revised ship dates with clarity and urgency
Submittals, RFQs & Technical Documentation
Produce project submittals for power distribution systems and busway installations
Generate RFQs for project-based equipment and individual component requests
Support pricing determination for projects and replacement parts
Assist with review and coordination of project drawings, including Revit-based designs for large busway configurations
Required Qualifications
Project management experience in electrical infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, or mission-critical environments or equivalent experience to demonstrate sufficient aptitude
Strong organizational skills, high level of adaptability, and ability to prioritize under pressure
Experience managing multiple active purchase orders and complex delivery schedules
Demonstrated experience navigating production delays and schedule recovery
Strong experience with order tracking, delivery coordination, and enterprise-level customer communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking spreadsheets, delivery logs, master trackers)
Experience leading recurring customer status calls
Ability to simultaneously manage high-volume, high-dollar programs with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the data center or mission-critical infrastructure industry
Familiarity with busway, power distribution systems, or related electrical products
Experience preparing technical submittals and RFQs
Experience reviewing or supporting Revit drawings
Background working with large enterprise or hyperscale customers
Experience coordinating on-site technical services
Experience managing programs with eight-figure annual PO volume
